Construction and application

Extremely flexible connectors manufactured by one or several single insulated silicone cables in extruded design acc. to the page 20 of this catalogue. The contact areas are assembled with solderless pressed copper connectors. The connectors with their high flexibility are suitable for connections which have to do movements as well as to transfer high current by using components with smaller dimensions. So they are excellent suitable for connecting components inside switchgears or switchboard applications. The insulating material is free of halogen, flame retardant, self-extinguishing and has a continuous operating temperature up to +180° C. The technical attributes offer a wide field of applications mainly for installations into difficult equipment or small places.
